This update is crucial for all UTME and Direct Entry (DE) applicants who chose FUTMINNA as their first choice institution.
Registration Schedule
According to the official statement from the institution, the UPASE registration portal will open on Monday, August 4, 2025, and will close on Sunday, August 31, 2025. Candidates are strongly advised to complete their application within this time frame as no extension will be granted.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the FUTMINNA UPASE screening, applicants must meet the following conditions:
For UTME Candidates:

Must have selected FUTMINNA as first choice during 2025 UTME registration.

Must have scored a minimum of 150 in the UTME. However, competitive departments may require higher scores ranging from 170 to 200.

Must possess a minimum of five (5) O’ Level credits, including English Language and Mathematics, obtained in not more than two sittings.
For Direct Entry (DE) Candidates:

Must have applied through JAMB for the 2025/2026 DE admission into FUTMINNA.

Must possess a Lower Credit in National Diploma (ND) or Higher National Diploma (HND), or at least Merit in NCE or equivalent.

DE candidates are also required to upload their O’ Level results along with academic transcripts or certificates.
️ How to Apply for FUTMINNA UPASE 2025/2026
Follow the steps below to successfully complete your screening registration:

Visit the UPASE Portal:
Go to the official FUTMINNA Pre-Admission Screening Portal. -
Login Details:
Enter your JAMB registration number and one of your names to access the portal. -
Course Verification and Change:
The system will automatically validate your UTME and O’ Level subject combinations. If your course choice doesn’t meet the subject requirements, you’ll be prompted to select an alternative course from the available options. -
Upload Documents:

UTME candidates should upload their O’ Level results.

DE candidates should upload both O’ Level results and relevant academic credentials.

Make Payment:
Pay the non-refundable screening fee of ₦2,000 using REMITA via any of the following:-
Debit card (MasterCard, Verve)

Bank deposit (using RRR generated from the portal)

Print Confirmation Slip:
After successful payment, preview and print the UPASE Screening Acknowledgement Slip for reference.

All uploads must also reflect on JAMB CAPS — candidates who fail to upload their O’ Level results to JAMB portal will not be considered for admission.

Any false declaration of results or qualifications will lead to automatic disqualification, even if admission has already been granted.

Ensure that your email address and phone number used during JAMB registration are valid and accessible throughout the admission process.
️ Screening & Admission Status
Once screening is completed, candidates are expected to monitor their portal regularly for updates on their application status. The portal will display one of the following:

✅ Cleared: Candidate is eligible and has passed screening.

⏳ Pending: Candidate’s application is still under review.

❌ Rejected: Candidate was not successful — review reason and correct (if allowed).
Candidates with “Cleared” status will then await the release of the admission list, which will be uploaded first on JAMB CAPS before appearing on the FUTMINNA portal.
