Common Questions Students Are Asking
Why is my CAPS still showing “Not Admitted”?
Your school may not have uploaded your name yet. It doesn’t mean you were not considered. Keep checking daily.
CAPS is showing “Admission in Progress”—what should I do?
This is a very good sign. It means you’re being processed. You may be admitted in a few days or weeks.
I saw my name on my school portal but not on CAPS. What’s wrong?
JAMB CAPS must update before the admission is fully valid. Sometimes there’s a delay between school portal uploads and CAPS reflection.
Should I accept “Transfer Offer” on CAPS?
Only if you agree to the new course being offered. If you don’t accept, you won’t be admitted into that course.
What to Do While Waiting for Admission
