The Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA) will officially commence the sale of Post-UTME and Direct Entry (DE) screening forms for admission into various undergraduate programmes for the 2025/2026 academic session on Friday, 25th July and ends on Friday, 28th August 2025. All candidates who meet the eligibility criteria are hereby invited to apply for the screening exercise as stipulated by the institution.
General Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for the FUTA 2025/2026 Post-UTME/DE screening, candidates must satisfy the following conditions:

UTME Candidates: Must have scored 180 and above in the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and must have selected FUTA as their first choice institution. Candidates who did not originally choose FUTA but wish to apply are advised to change their institution to FUTA via the JAMB Change of Institution platform.

Direct Entry (DE) Candidates: Must have applied through JAMB and possess relevant qualifications such as ND, HND, NCE, or A-levels. They must also have chosen FUTA as their first choice or effected the change via JAMB.

O’Level Requirements: All applicants must possess a minimum of five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects including English Language and Mathematics, obtained in not more than two sittings in WAEC/NECO/NABTEB.

Age Requirement: Applicants must be at least 16 years of age by the time of admission.

Awaiting Results: Candidates who are awaiting the release of their O’Level results may apply. However, such results must be uploaded on both the JAMB CAPS and the FUTA portal before admission consideration.
Cut-Off Mark
The approved institutional cut-off mark for all programmes at FUTA for the 2025/2026 academic session is 180. Departmental cut-off marks may vary and will be announced after the screening exercise.
Application Fee and Payment Procedure
The FUTA Post-UTME/DE application form costs ₦2,000 (Two Thousand Naira only).

Generate a Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) and proceed to make payment online or at any commercial bank.

Return to the portal and complete the registration by filling in your biodata, uploading your passport photograph, and selecting your course of choice.
